Beyond archaeology, a visit to the Museum of Altamira would be incomplete without taking an aesthetic look at this earliest form of human art. In the workshop They Who Frolic in the Fields, we focus our attention on one of the most common representations in cave art, albeit less well-known at Altamira: the figure of the doe. We focus also on the method of printing these figures, including the technique employed in creating so many of them.
Families will be able to create their own artist notebooks based on their exploration of art at Altamira.
