For the 2020/2021 academic year, the Altamira program for schoolchildren eliminates face-to-face activities (Workshops, Educational Trails and Storytellers) and only maintains the visit to the exhibition, with the option of a free or guided visit to the Neocave.
In the singular exhibition The Times of Altamira, educators can use a variety of strategies to teach and learn in close contact with our cultural heritage. Our themed itineraries are available to educators who want to personally guide their groups through the Neocave and The Times of Altamira exhibition. When booking your group tour, you can also request the services of a museum guide.
From October to June: Tuesdays to Fridays.
The trails offer a set of didactic materials prepared by the museum's Education Department in partnership with teachers and professors to visit the exhibition The Times of Altamira. Each educational itinerary is a flexible package that educators can customise and tailor to the needs of their group.
