One of the great challenges faced by the Museum, housed in a rather small historical building, is to keep its varied and extensive collections in good condition.
That is why our storerooms are without a doubt a good field of work and object of study for many. The Museum’s Master Plan includes a programme for improving its spatial distribution, infrastructure and equipment, and many more projects have already been added.
One of the most significant activities for our website is the project to make the collections in store more accessible. With this project, we intend to open up communication channels and bring the renovation of the Museum into line with the expectations of civil society. Through our website and social networks, we offer the public the opportunity to discover holdings that are not usually on exhibition, thus creating links with the community.
