Cartel publicitario del Museo de 1930

Located in Valladolid, this Museum, one of the oldest in our country, was founded in 1842 with works of art from the confiscated convents.

In 1933, the Second Republic, emphasizing the richness of its sculptures, gave to the local institution the category of National Museum.

In the 90s, it started a period of expansion, architectural restoration and growth of their sculptural collections, culminating in 2009 with a new presentation of its collection in the renovated College of San Gregorio, and in 2011, with the incorporation of the collections from the National Museum of Art Reproductions.
