Áurea Lucinda Javierre Mur (1898-1980), was born in Teruel and studied in Tarragona, Zaragoza and Huesca. In 1917 she had a degree in Philosophy and Letters and a diploma in Teaching. The previous two years she had worked as editor of the Aragon Philology Study, of the Zaragoza Provincial Council, being replaced when she left by María Moliner. In 1927, he defended his doctoral thesis on the first wife of King Juan I of Aragon, the Duchess Mata d'Armagnac.

But in 1921, in addition, she entered the Facultative Corps of Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologists, along with three other pioneering women: Rafaela Márquez Sánchez, Ernestina González Rodríguez and Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez. Áurea was assigned to the Víctor Balaguer Library-Museum in Vilanova i la Geltrú. On December 30, 1922, he would take possession of a position in the ACA, from where he would not leave until 1935. After a brief stay in the Archive of the Ministry of Public Works, he moved to the position in the National Historical Archive where he would retire in 1968, that of archivist in charge of the collection of Military Orders.

Javierre's bibliographic production is very extensive. As part of the multiple tributes that we try to offer her, we present a small sample of her research.
