Study of the Liber feudorum maior: miniatures and text

During the months of April and May of 2018 a non-invasive chemical analysis of the miniatures and written text of the Liber feudorum maior was carried out by the Department of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Chemistry of the University of Barcelona , in the headquarters of the Archives of the Crown of Aragon.

The study was carried out using the technique of X-ray fluorescence (XRF), non-invasive or altering the composition of the material analyzed.

The result is reflected in the report we are now presenting, illustrated by images of the works.
