Pharaoh’s Reeds

To mark the 28th International Congress of Papyrology, we shall be holding an exhibition entitled “Pharaoh’s Reeds. A papyrus journey in the Nile” which includes a selection of around 70 pieces belonging to the collections of Montserrat Abbey and the Historical Archives of the Jesuits in Barcelona, taking visitors on a trip through Ancient Egypt, the Library of Alexandria and Thebes.
