International Archives Day at the ACA
On June 9, the ACA offers an open day at its headquarters in the Viceroys' Palace, with guided tours by archivists in Spanish, Catalan and English (at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.), and the projection of audiovisuals of the archive and its activities (Act Hall, free admission, between 10:00 and 14:30)

Exhibition "European Heritage Label Sites" at the ACA
The 48 Sites belonging to 19 European countries that currently hold the European Heritage Seal are represented, an EU distinction for tangible and intangible heritage, essential for European history and culture and representative of its principles and values. RIP John H. Elliott (1930-2022)
The ACA joins in condolences for the death of the distinguished British Hispanist, a researcher in this archive since 1954. We paid tribute to him in 2018 during the center's 700th anniversary celebrations. On that occasion he offered a keynote lecture on the craft of History

The program "Memory of the World" has accepted the joint candidacy of the various Codex Calixtinus preserved in the Iberian Peninsula, among other centers, in the Archives of the Crown of Aragon in its register of documents.

The Archives of the Crown of Aragon has had an early 12th century excerpt from the 3rd Book of the Commentary on the Apocalypse by Beatus of Liébana included in the Memory of the World Register.
The Archives of the Crown of Aragon has been awarded the European Heritage Label. On the 10th of March 2016, the European Commission published the list of heritage sites that have achieved this recognition.
