Spanish Archives Portal. PARES

The Spanish Archives Portal (PARES) is a project of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport to allow access via the internet to the Spanish Historical Documentary Heritage which is stored in its network of centres.

PARES is a dynamic and open project which constantly adds information from the archives to be published on the internet to all types of users.

It enables access to descriptive document databases and to their digitalised image banks, overcoming the traditional access barriers to the archives and allowing free 24-hour remote access to anyone via the internet.
