• Communication of the department with the professional and industrial sectors of production and promotion of the created works.
• Proposal of the adequate measures for the defence and protection of Intellectual Property.
• Carrying out the functions corresponding to the department in the matter of intellectual property registration.
• Managing the relations between the Ministry and the collective management entities of intellectual property rights.
