A place for study and intellectual concentration, its shelves hold volumes on a variety of subjects such as coin collecting, archaeology, history, geography, literature, religion, law and politics, as well as travelogues and manuscripts. It also features a representative sample of the extensive coin collection amassed by the Marquis of Cerralbo and his stepson the Marquis of Villa-Huerta.
