Installation and social media presence "Palabra de mujer" (Women's word)
The gardens and courtyard will once again be dressed in purple. Taking into account the theme for this year International Women's Day, "each for equal", through the week we will give poems and texts written by women who worked towards this equality.
Our public can take a selfie and shared with the hashtag #EachforEqual in front of the panel put in the garden for that purpose.
Alternate visit: femenine images at the Museum
Visit the Museum and look for the purple placards. With these texts we try to give visibility not only to the femenine images in our paintings, but also to the realities behind them: women's work, sorority, womens through woman's eyes or through men's eyes, etc.
Special edition of the book club
For International Women's Day we read one of the main Spanish female writers: Pardo Bazan. With this book we will consider the situation of women in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century.
