Small display of Luis Cañizares' artistic projetc: "Your Naked Print". Exhibiton within the plan Museos+Sociales (More Social Museums) of the Culture and Sports Ministry, with the collaboration of the FECMA (Spanish Federation Against Breast Cancer).

Invited work Madonna with child by Blasco de Grañen (1422- 1459)

For International Women's Day, the Museum exhibits this work by the Aragonese painter Blasco de Grañen. The painting, loaned by the Museo Goya- Coleccion Ibercaja, connects with the Spanish-Flemish works kept at the Museum, the oldest in our collections.

Installation and social media presence "Palabra de mujer" (Women's word)

The gardens and courtyard will once again be dressed in purple. Taking into account the theme for this year International Women's Day, "each for equal", through the week we will give poems and texts written by women who worked towards this equality.

Our public can take a selfie and shared with the hashtag #EachforEqual in front of the panel put in the garden for that purpose.

Alternate visit: femenine images at the Museum

Visit the Museum and look for the purple placards. With these texts we try to give visibility not only to the femenine images in our paintings, but also to the realities behind them: women's work, sorority, womens through woman's eyes or through men's eyes, etc.

For International Women's Day we read one of the main Spanish female writers: Pardo Bazan. With this book we will consider the situation of women in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century.
