Second Canvas Museo de Altamira

Second Canvas is a free app in Gigapixel (Ultra HD) format that is available on iOS, Android and tvOS. It is part of the Madpixel ScModules project co-financed by the European Union’s H2020 programme.

This app allows most of the pieces in the virtual exhibition to be seen in 3-D, which facilitates the total perception of each of the artistic and technical details by dynamic rotation of the objects. It is a storytelling multimedia programme with anecdotes and curiosities about the collections, showing us the ways of life, everyday activities and transcendent thoughts of the human groups that inhabited Altamira and its environs for over 150,000 years.
