Discovered in the Escombreras site, this simple but complete mortar, from the 2nd century BCE, is made of common ceramic clay and has a fairly flat grinding surface and a flared, moulded rim. Its sides are thick and convex, decorated on the outside with fingerprints. The base is ring-shaped.Salto de línea The pestle, which is also preserved, is made of marble and shows clear evidence of wear by use. Salto de línea
