The museum’s collection is growing thanks to, amongst others, donations, bequests, and especially purchases made by the State from private individuals, auction houses and antique dealers.
These pieces are gradually filling some of the gaps in the Museum’s collections, creating a more complete view of the decorative arts and design over time.
Pieces as unique as medieval and Renaissance furniture, silverwork, jewellery and watches have been acquired as of late. You can find information on some of these pieces here.
