The Museum’s temporary exhibitions programme deals with several different series of exhibitions.
One of the main topics of exhibitions is of course pottery. Aside from both Spanish and foreign historic pottery, the Museum is committed to contemporary creation, and hosts collective and individual exhibitions by Spanish and foreign potters.
In addition to this section, exhibitions of other decorative arts are arranged in dialogue with the Museum’s collection, along with exhibitions by contemporary producers whose works form a link with a topic and the Museum’s own collections.
One of the objectives of the temporary exhibition programme is to show the public collections that are usually in storage and to publicise the wealth of the Museum’s collections.
Exhibitions are set up by the Museum itself or in partnership with other institutions which request its participation.
