In 1993, Don Carlos Valentí de Hoyos and Doña Andrea Vanoly Mouraret donated the personal library and archive of the man who was the driving force behind the creation of the Museo del Pueblo Español and its first director, D. Luis de Hoyos Saínz and that of his daughter, Doña Nieves de Hoyos Sancho, subsequently director of the Museo.The collection includes 2000 titles, with both Spanish and foreign periodicals, books and leaflets.
