Publications

The extensive publishing activity of the Museo del Traje is concentrated here, together with the work of El Museo del Pueblo Español and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, the predecessors of the current Museo.

For a time now, to increase accessibility and diffusion of the works and within the savings plan to reduce expenditure on publications set in motion by the Ministry for Culture and Sports, there has been an increase in the number of electronic publications accessible online and a reduction in the number of printed publications. Many of the exhibition catalogues created since 2011 are only available in electronic format. A large number of the collection catalogues that tend to be in high demand among the library users have also been re-published in this electronic format and are available for consultation.
