Cotton grosgrain gown, 1961.
Long, black silk, sleeveless evening gown. Round neckline and two-piece back, the upper draped in a half-moon necklace fashion is attached in a V-shape to the lower part at the centre, revealing the shoulder blades. It has two vertical chest pleats, is fitted at the waist, the skirt is slightly gathered and has a long opening on the left side. The dress closes at the left shoulder with two clasps, and on the left side with a zip and clasps. It has a narrow belt of grosgrain ribbon on the inside that is fastened with two clasps.
Inscriptions: hanging from the belt on a side seam: DOUANE, embroidered on the back: GIVENCHY / MADE IN FRANCE; on the inner, right seam, written by hand: BREKFAST AT TIFFANYS / 1961
