Tea gown with empire waist. It has a train and square neckline, both at the front and the back. Stiffened bodice with nine whalebones. It fastens with nine hook and eyes and has an interior waistband. The shoulder is formed by a velvet bias followed by a net of flowers embroidered in metallic thread. The sleeve, short and hanging, is attached to this line. It is composed of a first body of lace with embroidered motifs and is trimmed with an embroidered net.

The second body of the sleeve is puffed and finishes in a lace cuff, embroidered net and velvet bias. The upper part of the neckline is gathered, a metallic braid traces its silhouette, along which a drawstring runs to cinch this line. The front bodice is slightly billowed and finishes in a panel of embroidered lace.

The back is complemented with two drapes formed by the lace, the embroidered net and the velvet bias. The back part of the dress is embellished with a wide panel. "Mme. Laferrière. Robes&Manteaux".
