Ca. 1680 - 1700
Vegetal decoration in the form of fine stems with leaves and small fruits. We do not have a complete picture, but it appears to be a wavy line pattern that repeats itself. Reseau in brocade on which the decorative elements in cut velvet stand out.
Dation: INDITEX S.A., 2003
At the end of the 17th century, the grid that contained the decoration disappeared, the elements are in movement and increasingly loose, smaller, more schematic, flat and shaded, retaining the naturalist forms. We believe this fabric would have been used for women’s garments.
