Last edition of the photography competition that had been running since 2006. At the Museo, we are working on a new proposal for young people.
Like What You See When You Wear What You Wear? Fashions and forms of dressing among young people
Who is it aimed at? Young people aged between 12 and 18 years old. You can consult all the information here:
What’s it about? Salto de línea You can express what clothing means to you, how it differentiates you, the way your group of friends dress, on this occasion the theme is “clothing and music”. Don’t think twice about it, grab your camera or your mobile phone and express yourself. The images must be individual, original and unpublished works.

What is the submit-by date? Up to 14:00 on April 7th, 2017
How are the winners chosen? Salto de línea This edition’s jury will be made up of various professionals from the Museo del Traje, the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, a professional photographer and a fashion blogger, who will choose two winning photos. The Special Award is chosen by the public through a popular vote in person at the stations located in the Museo del Traje in Madrid. This is also where the participants’ entries will be exhibited. Each person can vote for a maximum of three photographs, we look forward to your visit!
What are the evaluation criteria? Salto de línea The message you want to communicate through your photo needs to be connected to the theme of the competition: clothing and music. The image should be consistent with the explanatory text. The expression capacity, creativity and originality of the idea the participant wishes to communicate. A reflection of the young aesthetic.
