Children’s workshops

The Museo del Traje’s activities for children form part of the following programmes: Family weekends, that take place throughout the year, Summer in the Museo, Christmas in the Museo and School-free Days at the Museo, which are all seasonal activities.

These activities aimed at the infant and family public, aim to offer a fun, leisure alternative for the whole family.

In them, the fun element plays an important role; but, although the practical side is very important and experimentation is a tremendously effective resource for learning, we believe the work done in the rooms and the direct contact with the objects -in this case, the clothing and ethnology pieces- is essential and should not be neglected. Which is why all pre-schooler activities in the Museo del Traje are based on the collection pieces, shown in a close and fun way, and are completed with a subsequent practical session based on what was seen in the rooms.
