The Museum

The Museum is sited in the house the author lived in during his stay in Valladolid between 1604 and 1606. This period when Cervantes was living in Valladolid coincided with the publication of the first edition of Don Quixote in 1605.Salto de línea The inside of the house is an attempt to recreate the surroundings the writer would have known in a modestly furnished house, within the possibilities of a 17th century Spanish gentleman.
